One of the most important decisions any new company faces is who to bank with. Who will support them through the tough initial years as they try to establish themselves, who will listen to their plans for growth and support these too?
Coolair’s founders obviously chose wisely, as way back in 1980 they decided to make Natwest our commercial bankers and we remain with them to this day. Not every business can claim to be thrilled to get a visit from their bank manager, but we were delighted today when Jonathan Kay our Commercial Manager called in to present Helen Sharratt our Finance Director with a plaque recognizing our 35 year partnership.
Helen commented “Natwest understand that Coolair are essentially a family company who like to keep things simple and to deal face-to-face with people who understand our business and the perils & pitfalls it can sometimes entail. We are now a thriving company, one of the largest in our sector, but there have been times in the past when the picture hasn’t been quite as rosy and Natwest have always stood by us and helped us through these rough patches”.
