This unique ship within a giant bottle was installed on the fourth plinth at the world famous Trafalgar Square had to be environmentally controlled due to diversity of the British weather and the composition of the material of which the bottle was made from.
Coolair worked with the design team and delivered a solution by installing a ducted inverter heat pump system complete with bespoke air distribution ductwork to satisfy the critical environmental conditions and to protect the aesthetics of the art. Using the base of the bottles plinth to contain all the equipment, the inverter equipment was installed with a GPRS control panel to allow remote monitoring and control via a SMS style control signal.
