Nationwide air-conditioning specialists Coolair Equipment Limited brought together the great and the good of the building service industry, as main sponsors of the BTU Bi-Annual National Golf Day.
The event, which was held at Wychwood Park in Cheshire, was the first since the Covid pandemic hit and was attended by 12 teams from the 12 BTU branches of the UK.
The BTU – The Chartered Institution of Building Services – can trace the origins of the event back to 1926 and it has gone on to become one of the biggest dates in the building services’ calendar.

Our annual tournament was held on 1st July at Mere Golf Resort & Spa in Cheshire, and once again was a great success. The sun shone, the course was in great condition as always and everyone enjoyed a relaxed afternoon’s golf.
The winning team walked away with their trophies, but for the second year running all prize money was instead donated to a charity who’s work is helping with the challenging times we’ve all been through.

We’ve had some great feedback on a job recently completed at the HSBC in Altrincham. We were delighted that the branch manager took the time in her busy day to give our engineers a glowing report.

On 20th December last year we locked the office doors and went out to celebrate Christmas, followed by a well-earned 2 week shutdown. Everyone in high spirits, our order book full, we looked forward to 2020 and to celebrating our 40th year of trading in style.
And all was very briefly going to plan! Then in late January stories of a new deadly virus discovered in China started to emerge. Soon these stories explained how it was being seen in more and more countries across the globe.

After a flurry of last-minute planning, our annual ‘Nick Parker’ Coolair Golf Day took place on September 29, 2020 at Mere Golf Resort & Spa.
As well as bringing together clients, this year’s event gave us the opportunity to say a huge thank you to the frontline key workers fighting Covid-19.
This year, tournament winners received all the accolades but no prizes. Instead, money usually spent on prizes was donated to The Care Workers’ Charity,
