Time to pop the champagne and cut the cake, Coolair has turned 40!
That’s right, today Thursday February 13, 2020, marks 40 years since Nick Parker walked into Companies House and registered Coolair Equipment Limited.
Back then, the average wage was £6,000 and a litre of petrol was just 28p. Oh yes, and less than half of our current members of staff were born!
Here’s how the business that began with just three members of staff in a small terraced house in Gorton went on to employ 80 people in three offices across the UK.

Here at Coolair Equipment Limited we are kicking off our 40th year by unveiling our new fleet and new look!
The 20-strong fleet of top spec Citroen commercial vehicles will operate around the country, from our network of sites across the UK. 
Each vehicle has been wrapped in digitally printed bespoke graphics which showcase our new branding for 2020 our 40th-anniversary year.
The vans will be used by our installation and maintenance teams.

Coolair Equipment is to bring the latest energy efficient heating and cooling technology to one of Birmingham’s most prestigious new office developments.
The company’s Cannock operation has been awarded a £900,000 contract by Imtech Engineering Services Central on behalf of Wates Construction to help provide the best possible working conditions at Platform 21.
The 10-storey building, formerly known as The Charters, is being refurbished to create 120,000 sq ft of Grade A office space and include a repositioned double height glazed reception in Stephenson Street facing New Street station.

Coolair Equipment Ltd continue to strengthen our reputation as nationwide one-stop air conditioning specialists with the appointment of a new National Administrator for our Aftersales Division.
Leanne Duckworth, 36, will work alongside Aftersales Service Manager Mark Cooper and Contracts Co-Ordinator Karen Swallow.
Her tasks will include writing maintenance contracts, planning the team’s work schedule and reporting to clients. She will be based at Coolair Equipment’s national HQ, in Dukinfield, Manchester.
